Our goal is to provide our guests with knowledge, tools, curated hair care regimens and to support them in their hair care goals. Booking Appointments Below are several categories of appointments. When booking an appointment with us, we will ask for an active credit or debit card to store on file to secure your appointment or full payment may be required.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to book specific services. The deposit will be deducted from your service. If you cancel your appointment your deposit is forfeited. If you reschedule your appt for another date and time the deposit is still valid for your rescheduled date and time.
*Appointments booked under a subscription and or package does not require a deposit - these appointments are prepaid.
Early Bird Appointments
An additional fee of 40$ will be added to appointments scheduled between 6am - 7:59am. These are considered early bird appts.
After Hours / Outside Booking Site Hours Appt Requests
If you are interested in booking an appointment time that is not listed on the booking site, it’s considered after hours appointment. Please text me at 813.553.1743 or email me at thehairhaven@yahoo.com to request an appointment “after” booking site availability. Availability may be limited. Once availability is confirmed via text, we will send you a link to pay your deposit. Once deposit is received, we will book your appointment and an appointment email confirmation will be sent to the email address associated with your client profile. An additional fee of 40$ will be added to appointments scheduled after hours/ outside booking site hours.
Detangling Policy
We understand that detangling your hair may be a challenge. To accommodate this, there is a detangling fee of 50$ as an addon service . The detangling addon service must be added when booking your appointment online, not during your service. If the addon is not added and you arrive with your hair in a mattted, tangled condition, or takes longer than 10 minutes to detangle, your appt may be subject to cancellation due to limited time available to complete your service. Please schedule accordingly.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy We understand situations occur and for that, we have the following Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy in place. We ask that you let us know of any cancellations at least 24 full hours before your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 full hour notice (1 day from your appointment time) will be charged 100% of the service appointment. Should you need to cancel your appointment and your appointment is booked more than 24 hours from the current date, need to reschedule, the quickest way to do so is via the Acuity app or check your email for the appointment notification. There is an option to cancel/reschedule your appointment in the email notification. I have an automated system in place to expedite cancellations (online booking) and rescheduling of appointments- please use the automated system before texting or calling. Once your appointment is cancelled you must go back to the online booking system to book again. Unfortunately the booking system does not allow you to change the appointment type when rescheduling- you can only change the date and time.Unfortunately the booking system does not allow you to change the appointment type when rescheduling- you can only change the date and time. If you need to change your appointment type and keep your deposit, please text me at 813-553-1743 with the requested service. I will check the appointment calendar to determine whether the new requested service can be accommodated as let you know via text within 24 hours.
Tardiness Policy You are given a 15 min grace period to arrive to your appointment before your appointment. If you don't arrive within 25 mins of your appointment, you are subjected to the cancellation policy above. You can also text us at 813-553-1743 to see if we are running on time.
Entering the Salon When arriving at the salon, parking is free and open. The building is below. We are located in the Sprouts plaza at the end of the plaza on the left off Hwy 301. There is no receptionist upon entry. Once you enter the building, you will see a seating area. Take a seat and text me to let me know you have arrived. Once you text me I will let you know when to come back to the studio. My suite is the very last suite on the far left side, #122. Click here for directions.
